Fox Labs, Incorporated was founded in 1992. The intent was to create and sell the best less-lethal, self defense products available to the civilian market. In 1993, after investing over $250,000.00 in research, it was determined that law enforcement agencies could benefit from new, improved formulas and products and the primary marketing objective was revised. Fox personal did more interviews with officers from around the country and, working with one of the leading chemists in the field, created formulas that became industry benchmarks: FOX Premium Aerosol Defense Sprays.

Please Note: Pepper Spray is ORMD and considered a Hazardous Material when on a plane. We normally ship ORMD materials UPS Ground.

Pepper spray is legal in all 50 states but possession or use may be regulated. Please check with your local law enforcement if you have questions. A few noteworthy ones are:

• Massachusetts - Must have Firearms Identification card
• Michigan - Specific pepper or tear gas Formulations are required
• New York - Must be purchased from a New York state licensed firearm dealer or pharmacist. NO SHIPMENTS OF PEPPER SPRAY TO NEW YORK STATE
• Wisconsin - Special State formulation does not allow UV DYE. All of our pepper sprays contain UV DYE.

The contents are exactly the same as in our live units, except there is no "OC" in them. These are not water units. This is because our formulas are heavier than water, and if we substituted water it would not replicate the spray patterns faithfully. Additionally, don't be surprised if you get a "red" face when exposed to them...this is because the inert formula is not water. But if the formula has a "kick" without "OC" just imagine how it is when we add the fire! 3.75" x 1.25" diameter.
